MY TIMES ARE IN HIS HANDS

“My times are in thy hand…” Psalm 31:15

Firmly believing that my times are in God’s hand, I here submit myself and all my affairs to the wise and gracious disposal of God’s divine providence. Whether God appoints for me health or sickness, peace or trouble, comforts or crosses, life or death – may His holy will be done! All my time, strength and service, I devote to the honour of the Lord Jesus. It is my earnest expectation, hope, and desire, and my constant aim and endeavour that Jesus Christ may be magnified in me. In everything I have to do, my entire dependence is upon Jesus Christ for strength. Whatever I do in word or deed, I desire to do all in His name. I have all from Him and I would use all for Him. Oh, that the grace of God may be sufficient for me, to keep me always in a humble sense of my own unworthiness, weakness, folly, and infirmity together with a humble dependence upon the Lord Jesus Christ for daily grace and strength.” – Matthew Henry

Q95: To whom is baptism to be administered?
A: Baptism is not to be administered to any that are out of the visible church, till they profess their faith in Christ, and obedience to him;1 but the infants of such as are members of the visible church are to be baptized.2
1.Then they that gladly received his word were baptized. (Acts 2:41a).
2.v7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. v10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. (Genesis 17:7, 10).
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:38-39).
