Bright and early on February 26, 2016, thirty-one of our young people drove north for 2.5 hours to Huntsville, ON for a Youth Retreat weekend. Rev. Armen Thomassian, minister from Calgary FPC, was the guest speaker. With plenty of snow, we enjoyed many fun outdoor games as well as sports activities in the gymnasium. But of course the main purpose of the retreat was to spend time around God’s Word and in prayer.
The theme of the retreat was “The 21st Century Christian”, Rev. Thomassian dealt with five aspects, The Foundation, The Faith, The Fight, The Future and The Fruit. The meetings were a great time of blessing, encouragement, instruction and correction. The Youth Fellowship is a vital ministry and we would like to thank all of our church family for your prayerful and practical support. Please continue to pray for the Youth!
